Itsy Bitsy Spider

Itsy Bitsy Spider

The itsy bitsy spider
Climbed up the water spout.
Down came the rain
And washed the spider out.
Out came the sun
And dried up all the rain,
So the itsy-bitsy spider
Climbed up the spout again!

Origin

Many versions of “Itsy Bitsy Spider” exist, as well as titles (“Incy Wincy Spider,” for example), but its author is unknown. According to one source, a version of the song was first published in the book Camp and Camino in Lower California by Arthur W. North in 1910, but that information has not been verified.
